Refund Policy

At Durham Phones, we stand behind the quality of our repairs and the devices we sell. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we accept returns and process refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase or booking a repair.

Repair Services

All repairs carried out by Durham Phones come with a service warranty. If the same fault re-occurs within the warranty period, we will re-examine and re-repair the device at no additional cost. Refunds for repair services are only issued in the following circumstances:

  • We are unable to fix the reported fault
  • The fault reoccurs within the warranty period and cannot be resolved
  • The repair was carried out incorrectly due to technician error.

Refunds will not be issued if the device sustains new damage after the repair or if the fault is unrelated to the original service requested.

Device Purchases

If you have purchased a device from Durham Phones and wish to return it, the following conditions apply:

  • The return request must be made within 7 days of purchase
  • The device must be in its original condition, with no additional damage
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns
  • Devices that have been tampered with or damaged after purchase are not eligible for a return

Once the returned device is inspected and approved, a full refund or exchange will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.

Device Sales (Selling to Us)

If you have sold a device to Durham Phones, the transaction is considered final once payment has been issued. We do not offer returns or reversals on completed purchase transactions.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Diagnostic or assessment fees
  • Accessories and spare parts once installed
  • Devices with physical damage caused after the repair or purchase

To request a refund or return, please contact us within the eligible period with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
